Year 2024 - Citizen Service Corps e.V. officially hands over two Trinwaaser fountains to the communities of ADOUM in EBOLOWA and NNEMEYONG in NGOULEMAKONG.
Citizen Service Corps e.V. (CSC e.V.), an NGO of the Cameroonian Diaspora under German law, is donating two boreholes for drinking water in the villages ADOUM in EBOLOWA and NNEMEYONG in NGOULEMAKONG, both located in the south of Cameroon.
Two drinking water wells built in the villages ADOUM and NNEMEYONG, and donated by Citizen Service Corps e.V., will bring about a lasting improvement in the health situation of ADOUM and NNEMEYONG as well as neighbouring villages, reducing illness and mortality rates.
In March-April 2024, Citizen Service Corps e.V., an NGO of the Cameroonian Diaspora under German law, represented by its founding president, Cyrille Mvondo Mvondo, officially handed over a donation of two drinking water boreholes as a modest contribution to improving the living conditions of the local population. modest contribution to improving the living conditions of the people of the villages ADOUM and NNEMEYONG as well as those of neighbouring localities. The handover took place in the presence of several elites, sons, daughters and parents from the beneficiary villages and surrounding areas.
As a result, people will have long-term access to sufficient quantities of quality water. Hygiene conditions will be improved, reducing the risk of epidemics. Women and children, who are often responsible for fetching water, will no longer have to make long journeys to fetch it.
At the same time, school absenteeism is linked, among other things, to health problems such as anaemia, diarrhoea and bilharzia, which will be reduced.
